North Idaho College (NIC) is committed to providing quality nursing education and career development services to its students. With campuses in Coeur d'Alene, Post Falls and Hayden, NIC provides an array of courses and programs to help aspiring nurses reach their educational goals. The college offers an associate of science in nursing degree program, as well as an RN to BSN bridge program. Both of these degree programs are designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the medical field and the skills necessary to be successful in the nursing profession. NIC also offers a variety of other nursing-related programs, including a two-year certificate program and a one-year diploma program. These programs are designed to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills required for entry-level employment in a variety of healthcare settings. In addition, the college provides tutoring services and workshops to help students better understand and master the material covered in nursing classes. The college also operates an online bachelor's program in nursing. This program allows students to complete their degrees entirely online while receiving the same high-quality education they would receive in a classroom setting. It features courses such as medical ethics, health assessment and pathophysiology, as well as the option to take accelerated courses. The online curriculum is designed to provide students with the flexibility they need to pursue their educational goals on their own schedule. At NIC, students can take advantage of small class sizes, individualized attention and a variety of support services designed to help them succeed. The college also has an active alumni association that provides a range of resources, such as job postings and networking opportunities, to its members. Through its commitment to excellence, NIC provides its students with the tools they need to excel in their nursing careers.
