The program is designed to prepare nurses with the knowledge and skills they need to provide quality care for patients in a variety of clinical settings. The AAS program consists of both classroom and clinical components, providing students with hands-on experience in the field. The nursing curriculum at CCC focuses on core nursing theory and its application to practice. In addition to taking general education courses, students learn about anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, nutrition, and medical-surgical nursing. Students also receive instruction in communication and collaboration between healthcare professionals, as well as ethical and legal considerations in nursing.
