The University of Arizona offers a wide range of nursing education opportunities that cater to the needs of both novice and experienced nurses. With its unique curriculum, dedicated faculty, and extensive clinical activities, the university provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to be successful in patient care. The College of Nursing at The University of Arizona offers an undergraduate program that is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). This program allows students to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in just four years. This program is designed to prepare graduates to sit for the NCLEX-RN examination and become licensed as registered nurses. At The University of Arizona graduate programs in specialty areas such as Women's Health, Family Nursing and Adult Gerontology, among others, are offered. Each program prepares students for advanced practice roles and direct clinical care. Additional offerings include a Masters of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, Doctor of Philosophy and certificate programs. These academic offerings are further enriched with interprofessional learning opportunities, faculty mentorship, research opportunities and simulation learning tools.
