The college offers a comprehensive program of courses and clinical experiences across a range of degrees and backgrounds. Students can choose to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN). With all programs, student learning is focused on developing the professional skills and knowledge needed to provide safe and effective patient care. The ASN program at Carrington College-Tucson consists of two years of classroom and lab instruction followed by one year of clinical experiences. During this time, students will study anatomy and physiology, practice taking vital signs and assessing patients, and learn about nursing protocols. Upon completion of the program, graduates are ready to take the NCLEX-RN exam to become a Registered Nurse and begin their career. The BSN program at Carrington College-Tucson also covers two years of classroom and lab work as well as a full year of hands-on training. In addition to the core nursing curriculum, students complete courses in healthcare administration, leadership, research, and evidence-based practice. After graduating from the program, students will have the knowledge and qualifications necessary to become an RN with a higher earning potential and more job opportunities.
