Western Wyoming Community College offers nursing education programs to help students become knowledgeable, competent and compassionate nurses. The College offers Associate of Science in Nursing, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and Pre-licensure programs for RNs and LPNs. The college also offers Continuing Education programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of current nurses. The goal of these nursing education programs is to prepare students to provide high-quality nursing care with an emphasis on safety and integrity. Students will gain a thorough understanding of the fundamentals of nursing, including health assessment, pharmacology, nursing theory and practice, ethics, and professional standards. In addition, students will have the opportunity to gain specialized knowledge and expertise in areas such as geriatrics, pediatrics, emergency medicine, mental health, and surgical nursing.
