About

Ensign College, a private college in Utah, offers Nursing Education programs designed to prepare students to enter the profession of nursing with the knowledge and skills to practice safely and effectively. The college's Nursing Education program provides students with the necessary academic and clinical skills to become a successful and caring nurse. The program includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) degree and a Certificate of Applied Technology in Nursing (CAT). All of these programs have been recognized nationally by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN). The college's BSN program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). This accredited BSN program is a four year program that can be completed in as little as three years. After completing the program, graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-RN) and to become Registered Nurses (RNs). The Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) program is designed to prepare students for a career in nursing. This two year program focuses on providing the necessary academic and clinical skills needed to provide quality nursing care. Upon completion, graduates receive an ASN degree and are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Exam (NCLEX-PN). The Certificate of Applied Technology in Nursing (CAT) program is an accelerated program designed for those who already hold a Bachelor's degree in another field and wish to obtain nursing licensure. This one year program provides students with the required educational and clinical experience to be able to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN). At Ensign College, students are provided with the educational opportunities to pursue their dreams of becoming a nurse. Through the BSN, ASN, and CAT programs, students will be well prepared to enter the nursing profession and make a lasting difference in the lives of those they serve.
