Covenant School of Nursing and Allied Health is a trusted provider of quality nursing education, offering a range of diverse educational opportunities for all levels of aspiring healthcare professionals. Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, Covenant School provides students with a comprehensive academic coursework combined with hands-on clinical experiences to prepare them to become successful and responsible healthcare providers. The school offers an Associate Degree in Nursing and two programs leading to certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The Associate Degree in Nursing program is accredited by the Texas Board of Nursing and approved by the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission. This program consists of general education courses, such as math and science, as well as clinical practice components that focus on delivering safe and effective patient care. Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). In addition to the Associate Degree in Nursing program, Covenant School also offers LPN certification programs. These programs provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide direct patient care in various health care settings. The curriculum includes instruction on taking vital signs, administering medication, maintaining sterile environments, writing patient care plans and developing critical thinking skills. Upon completing the program, students may take the NCLEX-PN or state licensure exam for practical nurses.
