Piedmont Technical College provides excellent nursing education for students interested in becoming a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). In addition to offering the proper RN and LPN curriculum, Piedmont Technical College also offers continuing education courses to help nurses stay current on their professional skills and knowledge. At Piedmont Technical College, students have a choice of three different areas of study when it comes to nursing education. The college offers Associate Degrees in Nursing (ADN) and Practical Nursing (PN), and certificates in Basic Nursing. Each program is designed to provide students with a solid foundation in the fundamentals of nursing and hands-on experience in the medical field. The ADN program at PTC focuses on providing theoretical knowledge and clinical experience in order to prepare students for a career as a registered nurse. Through the ADN program, PTC provides students with classroom lectures, lab work, clinical experiences, and patient contact hours. The PN program allows students to become licensed practical nurses.
