Nursing Education in Universidad Adventista de las Antillas (UAA) is dedicated to providing a quality education for those seeking to become professional nurses. UAA’s nursing program provides an excellent opportunity to learn the necessary skills and knowledge required to be a successful nurse. UAA offers quality undergraduate and graduate programs in both BSN and MSN degree options. Each program provides comprehensive training, hands-on experience, and clinical rotations to prepare students to practice as professional nurses in Puerto Rico. The curriculum focuses on the development of critical thinking and problem solving skills, while familiarizing students with state-of-the-art technology and practices in patient care. UAA's nursing faculty is committed to creating a supportive and stimulating learning environment. In addition, UAA has established partnerships with other universities, hospitals, public health agencies, and community organizations so that students will be exposed to a wide range of real-world experiences. UAA's nursing program provides students the opportunity to specialize in the field of their choice, including Pediatric Nursing, Geriatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Home Care Nursing, and Clinical Nurse Leadership. All students must complete a minimum of 135 credits in their program of study. Additionally, students are required to complete 3000+ hours of supervised clinical experience prior to graduation.
