Crawford County Career and Technical Center Practical Nursing Program provides a comprehensive educational program designed to give students the knowledge and skills necessary to enter the nursing profession. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and prepares students to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN). With courses in anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, medical-surgical nursing, obstetrics/gynecology, mental health/gerontology, and nutrition, the Practical Nursing Program provides a strong foundation of knowledge and skills that can be applied directly to a career as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
