Midland University's Nursing Education program has been designed to provide students with a top-notch education in an academically challenging and supportive environment. With excellent faculty and modern facilities, the University offers an array of courses and learning experiences that foster excellence and creativity in the classroom. Nursing students will develop necessary skills, knowledge and professional expertise to become highly qualified nurses in the healthcare industry. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree program provides a comprehensive and rigorous curriculum that emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, technological advances, and evidence-based practice. The program combines theoretical coursework with clinical experience in both hospital and community settings. The University also offers a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), which allows students to study in areas such as nursing administration, health care informatics, and advanced practice nursing. This specialized degree is designed to help students take their careers to the next level, becoming more competitive in the job market and contributing to the field of nursing in many innovative ways. Students who have already earned their BSN are eligible for this program and can use it to pursue further study and research. Midland University also offers certifications and post-master's certificates to help nurses stay abreast of the latest changes in the healthcare industry. These programs provide students with specialized knowledge in a specific area, such as online learning, nursing informatics, health policy, and legal issues. In addition, students may choose to join one of the University’s two student organizations – the Nursing Student Association or the Nursing Professional Development Council – both of which promote professional development and serve as valuable resources for discussion and networking. The University is committed to helping its students reach their career goals, and the faculty and staff make sure that each student receives the individual attention and guidance they need to succeed. Midland University's Nursing Education program provides a solid foundation of knowledge and skill to any student wishing to pursue a career in nursing.
