Mineral Area College (MAC) is proud to offer a first-rate nursing education to its students. MAC offers an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing (A.A.S.N.), which prepares graduates to become registered nurses and join the workforce. The curriculum provides students with a comprehensive set of skills, values, and knowledge needed to provide quality healthcare for patients in a variety of settings. Instructors offer a wealth of experience in both the classroom and clinical practice to ensure that students are adequately prepared for their future careers. The A.A.S.N. program at MAC is designed to provide a strong foundation of nursing knowledge and skills. Courses cover topics such as anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, nutrition, communication, and pathophysiology.
