The University offers an array of degrees and certificates, ranging from a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) to a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). Additionally, Fitchburg State University has recently been awarded the prestigious distinction of becoming a Center of Excellence in Nursing Education by the National League for Nursing. The BSN program at Fitchburg State University is designed to equip graduates with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to become competent, entry-level professional nurses. Through their rigorous curriculum, students learn essential skills such as critical thinking, communication, assessment, and patient care. They are also exposed to a variety of clinical settings, allowing them to gain real-world experience prior to entering the workforce.
