Northwest Kansas Technical College's nursing curriculum is well-rounded, incorporating both theoretical and practical instruction. Nursing classes include topics such as anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, nutrition, pharmacology, and more. Each course is structured to provide hands-on learning experiences, clinical simulations, and real patient care scenarios. Our nursing labs are equipped with state-of-the-art technology, allowing students to get the most out of their learning experience. We also offer a wide range of support services for our nursing students. Our student success counselors are available to provide guidance and assistance throughout the program. In addition to our programs and services on campus, Northwest Kansas Technical College is a member of the Kansas Board of Nursing. As a result, our graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) upon graduation. This exam is recognized as the entry point for a successful career in nursing and is required for practicing nurses in all 50 states.
