The University of Saint Mary offers two degree tracks: the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). Students in the BSN program will learn the necessary skills, knowledge and principles to build a foundation in patient care and evaluation. The MSN track allows students to specialize in advanced practice nursing, with courses such as nurse practitioner, nurse educator and advanced clinical nurse leader. With a focus on both academic rigor and clinical excellence, UMSM's nursing program emphasizes evidence-based practice in providing quality patient care. We believe that nursing should be based on current research and best practices, allowing students to get the most out of their education. In addition, we are committed to community engagement, so our students have the opportunity to give back through service learning experiences.
