The University of Central Florida provides quality and accessible nursing education to students all over the state. Nursing at UCF is dedicated to providing students with a comprehensive, evidence-based education in health care, which is designed to equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to provide safe and effective nursing care. The program is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and offers students a wide range of degree programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Students can choose to pursue a bachelor of science in nursing (BSN) or master of science in nursing (MSN). In addition to classroom instruction, students participate in supervised clinical experiences to gain a deeper understanding of common health care issues. UCF's nursing faculty are experienced practitioners and scholars with a variety of backgrounds and specializations. They offer an integrated, holistic approach to nursing, combining theory and practice to prepare graduates for dynamic careers in health care. Faculty are committed to helping students achieve their educational and professional goals, providing guidance and support throughout their studies. The UCF community also features a wide selection of student organizations for nursing students, giving them the opportunity to engage in social and professional activities. These organizations include the Student Nurses Association (SNA), the National Student Nurses Association (NSNA) and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN).
