From traditional undergraduate and graduate degree programs to continuing education courses, MVC provides quality nursing education for every level of learners. The Nursing Program at Moreno Valley College is an excellent choice for those looking to embark on a future in the health care field. Our faculty provide students with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in the nursing profession, and we strive to ensure that each of our graduates is prepared to practice safe and effective nursing care. For undergraduate students, MVC offers Associate of Science degrees in Registered Nursing, as well as a Vocational Nursing Certificate Program. Those interested in earning their BSN can also pursue the Registered Nursing program, which includes prerequisites and general education courses. All students must complete the same core curriculum in order to be eligible for graduation. This includes courses in anatomy, physiology, nutrition, pharmacology, and health assessment & communication. At MVC, we understand that each individual has a unique set of needs and learning styles, so we offer flexible scheduling options, both online and in the classroom, to accommodate our students’ diverse lifestyles. After completing their degree requirements, all RN students must successfully pass the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN) in order to qualify for licensure.
