Nursing education at CES College is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need to serve society in the nursing profession. Our nursing program provides students with a broad-based foundation of knowledge and evidence-based practice and promotes the development of research and critical thinking skills. At CES College, we have a well-rounded curriculum that incorporates a liberal arts and sciences background with comprehensive clinical experience in settings ranging from hospitals to community-based organizations. Our faculty members are committed to providing students with an excellent educational experience and mentoring them through the entire process. We provide students with a variety of learning experiences such as simulation labs, clinical rotations, and interprofessional education experiences. Our core curriculum includes topics on health assessment, pharmacology, diagnosis and treatment planning, health promotion, pathophysiology, gerontology, and nutrition. We also provide a range of electives in areas such as pediatrics, mental health nursing, leadership, ethics, and research. Our students gain hands-on clinical experience in settings such as hospitals, long-term care centers, and home health care agencies. They also complete a capstone project that requires them to synthesize their knowledge and skills in a meaningful way. Our graduates are competent and compassionate nurses who have a deep understanding of the human condition and the ethical, social, and legal issues in nursing.
