About

Beaumont Adult School offers a variety of nursing education programs to support the success of nursing students. Our nursing faculty encourages our students to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to become successful health care professionals. Our programs are designed to provide hands-on learning experiences in simulated and clinical environments. We offer an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program which prepares students for their Registered Nurse licensing examination and career in nursing. The program is offered in two tracks: pre-licensure and bridge. The pre-licensure track is designed for students who have no prior nursing experience. The bridge track is designed for students who have completed either a vocational nursing program or prior college nursing courses and wish to advance to a registered nurse. Both tracks include core classes such as anatomy, physiology and microbiology as well as nursing theory and practice. Students also participate in clinical experiences in the hospital setting. Additionally, we offer a Practical Nursing program for those who wish to become Licensed Vocational Nurses. This program prepares students for the National Council of Licensure Examination. Clinical rotations provide students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a variety of medical disciplines. To assist our nursing students in achieving their educational goals, Beaumont Adult School provides tutoring, study groups, and mentorship programs. We also offer financial aid and scholarship options. At Beaumont Adult School, we strive to provide our students with the best possible nursing education. Our commitment to excellence sets us apart from other nursing programs in the area. We invite you to join us and get the education you need to succeed in your nursing career.
