Nursing education at West Coast University-Ontario is designed to equip learners with the knowledge and skills they need to become strong, caring, and caring nurses. Our school offers a variety of degree and diploma programs in the nursing field, from pre-licensure nursing programs to post-graduation residencies. We have course offerings tailored for both traditional and non-traditional students, so our students can find the program that best fits their individual needs. At West Coast University-Ontario, we believe in the importance of the nurse’s role in health care and strive to ensure our students are well-prepared. Our courses are designed to provide future nurses with a solid foundation in anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology, while also giving them the opportunity to explore topics such as gerontology, ethics, and leadership. Our professors are experienced and passionate professionals who give students the support they need through lectures and clinical instruction. We also offer experiential learning opportunities in many of our courses, allowing students to gain hands-on experience. Our Nursing Science program provides students with an understanding of the principles and foundations of nursing, along with theories and practice related to health assessment, disease prevention, and health promotion. In addition, our faculty offer on-site clinical facilities and simulations where students can apply their knowledge and understand their roles as registered nurses. Our Nursing Education Center also provides distance education opportunities that allow students to attend classes from any location.
