Angeles College is dedicated to offering quality nursing education, preparing competent and compassionate healthcare professionals. Located in Los Angeles, California, the college offers several nursing programs, ranging from a two-year Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) to a four-year Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree. The ADN program prepares students for an entry-level position as a registered nurse. The curriculum includes classroom instruction in basic science, anatomy, physiology, communication, nutrition, pharmacology, and pathophysiology, as well as clinical experience in hospital and clinical settings. Graduates of the ADN program can sit for the National Council Licensing Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). The BSN program is designed for students who already have an ADN and wish to further their education. The curriculum includes advanced research, professional practice, leadership development, and evidence-based practice in healthcare. Graduates of the BSN program will develop their critical thinking skills and gain a comprehensive understanding of patient care. In addition, students may explore areas of specialization such as gerontology, oncology, and pediatrics. At Angeles College, students also have the opportunity to pursue an Online RN to BSN program. This program is designed for current RNs who wish to advance their education and career opportunities. It provides an accelerated path to a Bachelor’s degree, with an emphasis on the changing landscape of healthcare in the U.S. Students gain knowledge in areas such as healthcare policy, public health, and informatics.
