From basic healthcare courses to specialized degrees, CACC provides the highest quality of nursing education available in the area. CACC offers a two year Associate Degree in Nursing which prepares students for a career as a registered nurse, or simply as a professional in a healthcare setting. Students will learn the basics of patient care, anatomy and physiology, and medical ethics and law. They will also be able to learn the fundamentals of pharmacology and clinical practice. Upon completion, graduates have the opportunity to take their licensing examination, which will give them the qualifications to work as an RN in any state. In addition, CACC offers an Advanced Placement program which allows qualified students to bridge the gap between the Associate Degree and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. This course of study includes a comprehensive curriculum that encompasses the latest in healthcare theories, research and technologies. Many of these courses are also available online, giving students the flexibility to take classes at their own pace. The school also offers a number of certificate programs in various fields, such as Neonatal Nursing, Rehabilitation Nursing, and Geriatric Nursing. These specialized courses provide students with advanced instruction and clinical experience that can help them gain a deeper understanding of the topics covered in their courses. At CACC, students are not only taught the best practices in nursing, but also given the opportunity to gain real-world experience. Clinical instructors are always available to provide feedback on the student’s performance so that they may become better prepared for the job market. Furthermore, students can participate in internships and clinical rotations in medical centers and other healthcare facilities. CACC is dedicated to providing students with the tools and resources they need to become proficient and successful nurses.
