The associate degree program at Newberry College of Nursing is designed to give students the necessary skills and knowledge to become licensed nurses. Such courses include medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pharmaceuticals, nutrition, and patient safety. As part of this program, students also gain clinical experience in a wide range of settings. Upon successful completion of the program, graduates are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses.

The bachelor’s degree program at Newberry College of Nursing focuses on preparing students to become professional nurses through various classes, such as Advanced Pathophysiology, Pharmacotherapeutics, and Health Assessment. This degree program also encompasses the study of healthcare systems, ethics and legal issues in nursing, and nursing leadership. Students have the option to pursue one of five specializations, including Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, and Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. Upon completion of the program, students become eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses.

The College of Nursing at Newberry offers the Master of Science in Nursing program which prepares students to become advanced practice nurses. This program offers a wide range of courses, such as Clinical Inquiry, Diagnostic Reasoning, and Transitions in Professional Nursing. Upon completion of the program, students become eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses and the American Nurses Credentialing Center certification examination.
